One of the home’s significant energy efficient features are the towering north facing walls with double glazing to all windows.
The highly elevated awning windows provide a ventilation 2nd to none walls and ceilings are fully insulated using R2.5 and R4’s respectively.
Photovoltaic panels provide 4 kilowatt hours of power back to the grid and a 40 tube solar powered hot water system supplies abundant hot water through all seasons.
The 111,000 litre in-ground concrete water tank provides an endless flow of water.
The on-site sewerage system is Biolytix – a multi-award winning environmental plumbing solution.
