About Sketch

After a life-long passion in art and design, Kristie completed studies in Interior Design at the Canberra Institute of Technology in 2006. After becoming qualified, she moved back to the Far South Coast, and completed her first project, a café fitout, in 2007. The year was spent doing various small design projects, whilst studying and completing a Diploma of business management by correspondence.

In 2008 Kristie moved to Sydney to work for a design firm as a junior designer, which provided excellent experience for her return to the Bega Valley to establish Sketch Design & Interiors.

Completing a mix of both residential and commercial projects over the next two years, Sketch worked alongside a building team on a large scale renovation in Quaama. This started a great relationship with Rettke Builders, which continued for the next two years until a collaboration was born in 2012!

Sketch and Rettke continue to successfully work together on residential projects, bringing an all-inclusive design and build service to the Far South Coast.
